2/9/2023 0 Comments Mass effect 2 mission![]() Still, I am generally very interested in it, and enjoy it a lot whenever I go through Mass Effect 2, which is always a part of going through Mass Effect trilogy. The suicide mission is widely considered as one of the best and most iconic missions in the series, in good part because of the real consequences that may result from the player choices. I do like this mission quite a lot, but I do not consider it to be of top notch quality, instead it is one level lower to me, due to some specifics of it, things being relatively quite easy to accomplish being a major issue. ![]() Secondly, I am not on the page of no casualties route, I know it is an unpopular way of seeing it and feeling about it, but I prefer for some squadmates to die, especially so in some cases, as in some cases they cannot die at all in the next game, plus I just like this way more story wise, especially since psychological profile of my Shepard tends to be ruthless, so it fits too. I have some issues with the Suicide Mission.įirstly, it is too easy to go through with it without any casualties where squadmates are concerned, I would say the developers either needed to make it a harder thing or to instead make it inevitable for at least one or two squad mate to die, thr most obvious choice for it would be the second squadmate during the final fight. I also made Mordin a tech specialist in many playthroughs. Jack has varying dialogue in 3 if she was the biotic specialist or if she was part of the squad for that segment. Tali has unique dialogue in 3 if she's chosen as the tech specialist. Of note, Miranda has unique dialogue if taken along to the final battle. These "Weak Links" are ideal to take with you to the final battle. Kasumi's Flashbang deals pitiful damage, she's squishy and Shadow Strike puts her in peril. Mordin can chew through armor with Incinerate but he's old and frail. Jack shares the loadout choice and her powers are all offensive with nothing to defend herself with, so she scores lower than Jacob (who has Barrier). Tali's powers are useless against Collectors as they have no Shield for her to drain and she uses the Shotgun/Pistol combo. Legion's the anomaly here because its powers are useless against organics, but between its weapon choices (AR & Sniper) and Geth Shield Boost it avoids being lumped with the weakest members. Miranda's Slam gives her a power to spam and rack up kills and Warp to eat through barrier/armor, so her score is average. Samara has Reave for barriers but she's still an Asari (and remeber, Liara is also very squishy). Thane's a sniper but has low health problems and his Ammo power only works on Health, not Armor or Barriers. Jacob has Barrier and Incendiary Ammo, but his weapon choices (Shotgun/Pistol) hold his score back. Concussive Shot works well against Barriers and AP Ammo/Incendiary Ammo/Inferno Grenade eats through armor. Zaeed, Grunt and Garrus are all about combat, armed with Assault Rifles, Grunt has the highest Health in the game while the other two can snipe. Miranda may argue against Jacob, but he's been in the Corsairs, ship captains hired by the Alliance and specialized in ship-boarding.īiotic Specialist: Jack and Samara are the purest Biotic squadies, everybody else's biotics aren't made as big of a deal as those two's.Įscort: people recommend Mordin, but I myself prefer to send Tali or Kasumi, as their powers are not good against Collectors and they all share the same crappy defense score. ![]() Tech Specialist: Kasumi is a master safecracker, Tali's got the best education her father could get about machines and Legion is 1,183 programs running on a single plataform, all three more than capable of handling the task.įire Team Leader: Miranda and Jacob are your 2nd-in-commands and Garrus led his own team in Omega. Now reasoning behind specialists, assuming loyalty.
